That statement got me to thinking just how many of us have experienced this sensation. I have seen so many SL relationships come together and break apart in the short span since I first rezed. I have also seen people profess their love for one another in world and I have to ask myself if that love is for the portrayed character or the real person behind the pixels.

It's only life
I can’t tell you how many times I have been told “It’s only a game” in the six months since I first rezed in Second Life. And six months ago I would have happily believed that statement.
